The base is well made and is stable.
Installation was, naturally, quite simple. Just mount the XBox on the base and connect the USB cable to the XBox. Next, insert the included rechargeable batteries in the controllers and then insert them upside down to start charging. That's it.

There are 2 lights in the shape of controllers that are lit red when a correspondent controller is being charged (left and light lights operates independently), and are green otherwise.

For the RGB lovers, you are covered. The base has a surround LED light that is RGB (seems to have 5 zones) that offers various light effects. I'm not a fan, so I keep it off (via a long click).

There are also 3 fan speeds, plus off (default is off), and the selected speed is indicated via a lit icon on the base as well.

And of course there is the Headphone hanger which I find to be solid and easily holds my PDP50 wireless XBox headset.

So, overall, this XBox base station is really cool and intuitive to use.

What I especially love about it:
- Comes with 2 rechargeable batteries for controllers
- Controllers fit perfectly and are kept charged, and above all, they are now organized and do not get lost.
- Offers cooling solution for the Series S for those tough demanding games to sustain performance
- Has great light-up console icons to indicate function
- Has a pretty cool non-blinding RGB LED ring.
- Comes with a headphone hanger (but honestly, it will look a lot cleaner without it, but if you must use it, put it on the back.)

What I would have loved to see improved:
- buttons to be top mounted as it is always easier to hit them... and, make them bigger while at it.
- Fans are a little loud, but I wonder if that can be improved at all
- The controller light indicator is always lit... either red when charging or green otherwise. I wish it would be off if there is no controller inserted. This way I would know if a controller is not properly inserted or if something else is going on.

So I was looking for some docking station for Xbox series S which my boy's got for Christmas. I noticed that the Xbox was getting very warm when they were playing on it aftee sometime. So I wanted something which was not only a docking station but had fans as well as well as rechargeable stands for the 2 controllers. This particular one ticked all the boxes. It is not just practical with dual fans with 3 settings as well as 2 charging docks for xbox controllers. Comes with 2 decent rechargeable battery packs which look well made and are a perfect fit as replacement battery's. It also features a little hook for hanging your gaming headphones on. And the base as built in RGB lights around it which have various modes such as flashing or static lights as well as either multi coloured or several single colours. There is also an option to switch the lights off completely and the same with fans either low speed, high speed or off completely.

The only small criticism I can think of, which for some people might be a bonus is that; if you have the lights and fans on when you turn off/shut down your Xbox, they stay on. There are two options to resolve this either pressing the buttons on the docking station till they switch off. Or remove the USB cable from the rear of the Xbox.

For some this might be an added bonus as you can use the lights as a night light, mood lighting etc when not using your Xbox.

For my brother's birthday, I gave him an Xbox Series S, complete with a second controller. Concerned about the potential battery drain, I started searching for a solution and stumbled upon this fantastic charging stand. It not only securely holds and cools the Xbox but also charges the controllers with the included batteries.

Putting the stand together was a breeze – simply slide the Xbox in and connect the USB cable. Initially skeptical about its ability to securely hold the console in an upright position, I was pleasantly surprised by its sturdiness. The stand cleverly utilizes the holes in the console case, providing extra support and a secure grip.

The rechargeable batteries included with the stand have performed flawlessly. No issues have arisen, and they seamlessly power the Xbox controllers. Once inserted, plugging the controllers into the USB-C ports on the stand initiates the charging process, with lights on the front indicating the charging status.

While the headphone holder only connects to the back of the console, I found it to be a logical placement. The slight spacing difference on the sides doesn't pose an issue, and it conveniently keeps headphones within easy reach.

Adding a touch of style, the charger base boasts a vibrant LED light strip with customizable modes and colors. The fans, designed to keep the Xbox cool, operate quietly, and I have to listen closely to discern the different fan speeds. This Xbox dock is so compact and literally has everything you need! Our Xbox Series S fits snugly into it and doesn't feel like it would come out or fall over. The fan has 3 speeds and my son found the LED lights fun to customize. The batteries seem to last pretty long but not having to take them out to charge them (like our last set of rechargeable batteries for the controllers) is really nice! It also stops my son from leaving his Xbox controllers everywhere and keeps just desk a bit more tidy. The headset holder was actually what caught my interest, how they utilized the Xbox to hold it. There is also a USB port for charging devices in the back of the dock so ultimately the outlet you use to plug this into is given back, more specifically for us because it's plugged into a USB port on his desk.
