Beautiful new BLUE FLAMES again! I recently did a major cleanup and overhaul on the BBQ and when I got down to the burners I realized that they finally gave out with large holes in them towards the rear. I found this set on Amazon along with the plates. They fit Perfect on my Broil King Baron 540 BBQ.

Note, as other reviewers commented once you remove the old burners you are left with a large hole on the back wall of the BBQ. I resolved this my mounting a new pieces of metal I had in my garage and used self tapping 1/4" screws to hold them down and mounted the burners on the new metal. Worked like a charm. The metal plates you see with the holes in them. Those are sold at Home Depot in the building section. They are actually "L" brackets that I simply flattened out with a hammer.

Another note, if you look at the picture of me holding the old burner next to the new burner. You will see that the pipe on the OLD burner was thicker than the new burner. Not a showstopper but I guess the manufacturer of the new burners was looking save costs. We will see how long these last.

Removing the old burners, mounting the new metal plates, installing the new burners & cleanup. 1.5 hours of time. I am pretty handy so it was not a big deal for me.

Pictures 1,2,5, ( I wish Amazon would allow control of picture placement) are of the BBQ put together with the new heat plates above them. Looking forward to this Sunday BBQ.

Update 9/11 - BBQ used with new burners, all went very well steaks cooked evenly no issues.
Update on mounting plates in the back wall to hold up the burners. In hindsight what I should have done is gone to the local box store and bought a piece of aluminum 2" wide by the length of the inside of the BBQ where the burners mount on. This way all I would have needed to do is mount one long BAR across the length of the back wall and not five individual plates. Next year !! :)

Update 9/16 - Added a new picture of the screws, nuts and cotter pins that came with this kit. The seller did not show these in the lot of their pics but they came inside the bag with the burners. I did not use them because my BBQ does not give me access to the back wall where the burners mount too. However a plus +++ for anyone that could use them.

This is a great option to refresh your Broil King Baron grill. My grill was several years old but regular use had taken its toll on my gas diffuser pipes so it was time for repairs. These parts are as good as the originals, but much cheaper. Install was very easy, use a brass wire brush to clean the old pins before removing them.

The heat plates work great too, just as good as the originals.
